About Claire Serrato MD FACOG, ABLM

With three decades of obgyn, minimally invasive surgery and nutrition experience, Dr. Serrato offers a unique, comprehensive approach to women’s health. Her journey began in San Francisco, where a childhood fascination with nutrition and her mother’s influence as a professional dancer sparked a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection and health. An avid runner and cook, Dr. Serrato personally embodies the active lifestyle she encourages for her patients.

Educationally, Dr. Serrato did research before completing a Master’s in Nutrition from UCLA. She completed medical school and an OBGYN residency at UCSF. While she is a highly decorated subspecialist—holding a Master Surgeon designation in robotic surgery—she remains deeply committed to all aspects of Women's Health and Lifestyle Medicine. She became board certified in OBGYN over 20 years ago and she attained board certification in  Lifestyle Medicine in 2022. She has published research on how nutrition can affect cardiovascular health and cancer prevention.  She believes in providing practical, actionable advice, thereby ensuring her patients feel empowered and supported in their health journeys.
